Washington for retirement.  Smooth sailing... (5/3)-- Sorry but I will not make the reunion.

Ouellette, Pete - Thanks for this update. Pete and I were just talking about Ron a few days ago and wondering how he was doing in the cancer battle. So sorry to hear that he's now on Eternal Patrol.  Pete loved getting those Clever Boy Newsletters.  Pete had a rough winter with his health and was diagnosed with Congestive Heart Failure.  He'd had all the symptoms of heart problems for the last year and a half, but the damn VA ran him through a bunch of tests on lungs and finally decided to check his heart.  He also contracted Lyme Disease through a Tic bite and has not been able to completely recover from that.  We did sell our home last June and downsized considerably. New Address:  North Easton, MA (From Rita 5/10)...Pete is unable to fly due to his health (he only has 20% of his breathing capacity left).  Anyways, hope the guys get together for another reunion. (5/24)

Best Regards to All. (8/19)
Sanborn, Chris - It's coming for us all, but that doesn't make it suck any less.  The Chief was a great man and boat sailor.  Hope he needs an Auxiliary man on his crew when I blow negative for the final time.  My wife and will make every effort to go to the reunion.  Be good to spend time with the finest people I've ever known.  Keep an even bubble. (5/4)
Sanderlin, Ken - Sorry to hear about Gorence. Didn’t know him, although we both lived in the San Diego area.  I haven’t attended many reunions in the past ten years, particularly those involved with USVII.
